Aegopodium podagraria

Skvallerkål Kirskål Skvalderkål Ground Elder

Dead common in Denmark, slightly less in south/mid Sweden. In Norway, other than the southern coastal areas it is rare or non existant.

This plant has white flowers. Possibly introduced to northern Europe by the Romans ("what have they ever done for us ?"), the leaves can be used in salads or braised like spinage.
