Oxalis acetosella

Gaukesyra Harsyra Skovsyre Wood Sorrel

A reasonably common springtime flower, found on mainly in decidous woodland.

Although poisonous (the leaves contain oxalic acid) a few leaves give a refreshing taste to a dry mouth while you are out walking in the woods.

Usually white, but can sometimes be found with red / purple flowers.
